My name, Nofar, translates to Water Lily in English, but really, it’s a name that was
chosen for me by my father to describe closeness, No(t) Far.

​

I am an aspiring actor with a passion for storytelling and bringing characters to life. This space is where I unfold my journey and share my experiences with you.

Here, you'll get a glimpse into my world and the art of acting.​

A little bit about me...​

I am the wife of the sweetest person I know, a dog mom to our two funky mutts
who came with us from Israel, and hopefully soon, a busy and working actor.

 

Acting for me is my path to myself. The feeling of figuring out a character, then
connecting to her story and channeling her through my own colors, feelings and
soul strings, it makes me feel alive. When first reading the character's lines I feel
foreign in her words, but then through my work I find her in me, or vice versa.
It is the journey of walking down that yellow brick road that starts with being lost and scared and arrives at the experience of winning and owning.

 

I am both young and old, I am a beauty and a beast and I really make an effort
to be true to myself and let my voice be heard.

I believe fear is a clue to what really matters and can be a great source of power if you are able to place it behind you, and I wish I had more “Chutzpah” as Israelis are said to have. It comes in handy!
